This is a commission I got for an Elegant Gothic Lolita dress. The side-skirts are detachable, and the black under-dress is a simple frock with a ruffle on the bottom and elastic at the top and waistline. There's also a separate netting skirt for fullness. I made this in collaboration with Melanie.

The buyer commissioned it, paid the deposit with a check a month later, and the commission was put on the bottom of my list. Suddenly, she e-mailed and said she needed it in two weeks. I got her final payment check in the nick of time, and finishing it so we could express-mail it to her was a pain in the butt. I could have just not stressed about it, since it was her fault, but I have a hard time doing stuff like that. It's a little sad though, since such a lovely and simple dress should have been relaxing to make, compared to my usual anime gravity-defying insanity.
